The conventional first-date place is an elegant club or a pricey restaurant but, while there’s nothing wrong with either among these, they’re not always conducive to presenting a time that is good.
You might struggle to find seats or even hear the other person speaking if you meet your date in a noisy, busy bar. Costly restaurants, meanwhile, make you are feeling pressured and uncomfortable.
In the place of opting for something “impressive”, opt for a location you know well – whether it is that Victorian pub near your house or your favourite independent pizzeria.
